Basic gun dog training will include force fetch, introduction to retrieves on land and water, introduction to gun fire, steady to gun shot, retrieving live/cripple ducks and dead ducks, and retrieving from stand and duck blind.

This training package will provide your dog with the foundation to Pass an AKC Junior Level test and retrieve your game in numerous scenarios.

Allow 4-6 months of training for the average retriever to accomplish these goals.
