Formal obedience

At Southern Magnolia Retrievers we understand not every family wants or needs a competitive gun dog.

We often run into the need for formal obedience for the outgoing family that enjoys taking their companion on the road to the beach, lake, or simply to Tractor Supply.

With that being said we designed a program geared specifically for those families.

Our formal obedience is a 8 week board and train program concentrating on behavioral issues starting with on leash and off leash / e collar conditioning training. We take the same approach to formal obedience for family dogs as well as our competitive gun dogs.

Commands taught will be Heel, Sit, remote sit, recall, place, and kennel command.
